Short Getaway in KL

HI IM BACK AGAIN :)
Future-doctor-to-be yea hahaha
Have been 7 years for not updating my blog I think...  LOL

Okay back to the topic
On 24th of June my friend and I took ETS (Electric Train Service) from Butterworth to KL Sentral.

Ticket Price : RM59/person

This was my first time travelling by train
I was so excited and I couldnt sleep for the whole night

And this is my friend-WanKei
Say hi :)

I thought it won't be so cold inside the train as my friend told me also that it might be hot
But..... it was damn colddd
Both of my hands were freezing and became reddish

Lesson learned : Remember to bring your jacket or else wear long sleeves clothes

So we bought a cup of Teh Tarik for RM2 . 70
They used the green packet instant teh tarik (Aik Cheong)
It's abit expensive and I wouldn't recommend you to buy this unless you really feel cold and freezing.

There are only limited choice of food which costed RM 9 / box
Nasi Lemak , Fried Mee , Fried Meehoon and Sandwiches (which always out of stock LOL)

My friend pick us up at KL Sentral and we had our lunch.
We nearly forget to get off the train when it reached  haha

After lunch we went window shopping at NU Sentral.
(luggage pulling while walking and the pillows carried on hands)  :D

We felt troublesome and weird (although most of the people did this as well)
and we decided to go back to have a quick wash up.

We took the Komuter (RM2 . 40 ) to Bandar Tasik Selatan
and after that we took a Taxi (RM6 . 50) back to my friend's house

Yup it's IKEA's Food
but after we paid our food and decided to find a place to have our meal
we realize that it's just in time for the Muslims to break fast.

Take-away-muffins for tomorrow's breakfast
HAHA

We went for window shopping again at theCurve , eCurve, and Ikano
walking over the four malls until all the shops were closed LOL

25th June - Day 2

Our first time wearing this lab coat together

so WHY KL?

Mainly because we want to attend a PreMedical Student Workshop in UM
To get experiences being a Med-Student :)

Ice breaking... My face expression was soo weird HAHAHA

Why were we looking so exciting?

TADA ... Out of Hospital Cardiac Arrest

In-Hospital Cardiac Arrest Survival

Seriously my friend and I noticed him because he is tall and good-looking
(without the spec)

My first time doing CPR to a 'patient'

Certificate of Participation

Spot me !!
To conclude, I gained experiences and learned new knowledge
I learned how to measure one's blood pressure and had opportunity to use the stethoscope too muahaha
It's fun although I was so sleepy

After workshop we took an Uber from UM to KLCC
It's really convenient and much cheaper than Taxi

Night View of Twin Tower

Beautiful scene of Water Fountain

We took LRT from KLCC back to Bandar Tasik Selatan
(Transit one time- use the Sri Petaling route)

Price : RM4 . 20 / person

26th June - Day 3

As yesterday's night was too tiring and we chit-chatted till the midnight
Three of us woke up late and we missed our breakfast hour

We went to MidValley to have our Lunch perhaps ?
Bought some stuff before leaving KL

Our train departed at 5 . 50 pm

Donuts for Tea-break and also for Dinner in the train.

We had forgotten that the Muslims were fasting and we were eating infront of them
Oops...  Sorry as we were too hungry

Felt awkward sitting face-to-face with another two passengers
Luckily they get off the train earlier and finally I could stretch my legs

The eight seats belonged to us muahaha

Prepared to get off

Selfie before saying goodbye to each other :(

Reached Butterworth at 10 . 15 pm

Last but not least
Thankyou QiJoo for the accommodation and bringing us around
( We saved a lot of money without the hotel fee )
See you soon !!

CONCLUSION

During this 3 days
we visited 7 malls and spent most of the time in 4 bookstores ( to spend the book vouchers before dateline )

However, for the transportation
we took ETS , LRT , Komuter , Taxi and mostly the Ubers

As we had once took a scammer Taxi and we decided not to take taxi ANYMORE

Lesson learned : Only took the Uber whenever you need a transport
The drivers are much friendly and always in good attitude
You can still ask for discount :)
The price are affordable (and even free) and it's really convenient and safe

Use the promo code  "chiahuaytue"  for your first ride to get discounts :D

That's all for my post
Thankyou for reading :)
